Prepectoral procedure

The standard approach for prepectoral breast reconstruction involves skin or nipple-sparing mastectomy that maintains an adequate skin envelope and a well-vascularized subcutaneous layer.
A pre-operative pinch test => 1 cm is recommended

Tailoring Braxon® Fast

Braxon® Fast is the upgraded version of Braxon®.
It is pre-shaped and pre-curved to contain any breast implant. Thanks to its pre-curved shape, it will perfectly "dress" the breast implant, now faster and with less use of sutures. Please see the tab reference table to choose the Braxon® Fast size that suits your breast implant adequately.

The Braxon® wrap-around breast implant is then secured with apical, medial and lateral absorbable stitches directly onto the pectoralis major muscle.
Some stitches between the subcutaneous layer and the matrix will speed up the integration process.

The Braxon® edges are sutured together as in the figure, avoiding any bulky seams, tightly wrapping around the breast implant. It is placed in the prepectoral layer, into the subcutaneous breast pocket and the symmetry is verified with the patient in a semi-upright position.

The Braxon® patented shape has been designed to fit both the round-shaped and anatomical, silicone and saline breast implants up to 500cc. The pre-shaped, 0.6-mm-thick ADM, without preservatives and dry, requires only 5 min of hydration in sterile saline solution.
